Simply put, detoxing is the means of eradicating toxic substances from your body.

There are times that you may well feel sluggish and stressed out. 4. Toxins are also expelled by the lymph glands.The major lymphatic glands are the appendix, spleen, thymus and tonsils, all of which help other organs to cleanse and detoxify.

5. Unwanted chemicals in the body, particularly those that are toxic, are recycled by the liver.

How then do you detoxify your body?

Here are a few tips for healthy and effective detoxification:

Adopt a non-toxic lifestyle. Ensure that you exercise regularly, eat plenty of natural food and drink plenty of fluids, especially water. Avoid junk and processed foods which are toxic.

Go on a Detox Diet. Try out a Detox Diet that will cleanse your body and give relief to body aches, allergies, digestive problems and other associated concerns.

Appreciate nature. Being out-of-doors in nature breathing in clean air can keep our lungs healthy and improve our circulation. Take a walk on the beach or in a park if you live close to one.

Lead a balanced lifestyle. Establish a balance between work and leisure time. It is important to keep your body up and running and always on the go.

Be positive. A healthy mind and a healthy body go hand in hand. Negative thoughts can be toxic to the body. Knowing how to detoxify your body includes getting rid of negative thoughts. Smile and have the willpower and the commitment to follow your detox plan.
